Back in 2016, we started our journey by developing an easy to use yet reliable online fax service for individuals who still need to send and receive faxes but don’t want to invest in fax machines and fax servers. As we learned more about users’ requirements and researched the market, we shifted our focus to corporates and enterprises who deal with a large amount of documents to be faxed and have strict policies on compliance and security.
During these years, as we continued releasing new features for FAX.PLUS and making our product more secure and compliant with international standards, we were also strategizing the launch of a new product. In 2020 we decided to launch a legally-binding electronic signature solution that would serve as the second product in our suite, that would serve all our current and prospective clients worldwide.

Initially, we wanted to be able to answer customer calls when on vacation for a project we were doing at the time. So we composed a small solution for our need. We loved it so much that we thought we were on to something. As you can guess we also loved surfing -----. and thus came up with the name Alohi.
